Sheet Heater

Our plastic bending sheet heater (or strip heater) is designed to give us constant and professional bends whilst working with all types of thermoplastic materials. This includes acrylic, PVC, PETG and HIPS. It works by using a heated wire which softens the material being bent, often material is bent in straight line folds, so that it can be moved into its desired shape, or it is placed into a mould or jig creating the desired finished angle to the plastic material being manipulated.

Once the material cools back to room temperature it is locked into its new shape and can be removed from the mould or jig for inspection and testing.
