Dome Blower

At ASH Plastics Ltd we can manufacture domes on our dome blower. Our Clarke machine uses air pressure to inflate a dome shape out of a heated material, usually an acrylic sheet.
The process is simple. An acrylic piece is heated until it reaches a temperature at which it starts to soften. It is then clamped into position upon the machine with a circular ring. Air pressure is then applied to the underside of the material which creates a uniform shape. The material is then left to cool. Once cooled the item is ready to be used immediately.
Dome Blowing is one of the most effective ways of working with acrylic to deliver high quality results.
