Automotive components
The automotive components which we supply offer all of this. The plastics used within automotive manufacturing include polyurethane, PVC, ABS, Polyethlene and Polystyrene, chosen for qualities which include flexibility and resistance to factors such as heat, weather and solvents.
The shift to a demand for lighter vehicles which offer greater fuel efficiency has led to plastics of various types being used for a wide range of components, ranging from instrument panels and door parts to dashboards with component protection.
No matter what kind of component is needed we enter into a genuine partnership with each client, providing a designated project manager who will follow the process through from first point of contact to final delivery, keeping the lines of communication open and ensuring that the finished product meets all of the specifications needed.
Manufactured to scale
This process begins with turning the initial brief into a fully detailed CAD drawing using Solidworks design software. This design is then used by our manufacturing team, working with techniques including laser cutting, thermo-forming, line bending, vacuum forming and CNC machining in order to create the component in question.
The design can initially be turned into a prototype in order to establish proof of concept and offer further chances for development and refinement.
Once the design has been finalised we can manufacture any automotive component to scale, using expertise and automated technology to replicate the precise specifications of the completed component time and time again.
Efficient end-to-end process to meet tight deadlines
We understand that the safety and longevity of an automotive component are both vitally important, and work to ensure that both factors are at the heart of the finished items.
If needed, we can also source items, parts and materials from our global network of procurement partners, and our warehousing and logistics operation – including 10,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space – is sufficient to ensure that distribution and deliver runs as smoothly as design and manufacture.
