The equipment which is housed within the 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility at ASH Plastics includes highly specialised tools such as CNC laser cutters, laser etching equipment, thermoforming equipment and automatic line bending equipment. When these state of the art facilities are combined with a team of expert engineers and technicians with more than 100 years’ worth of combined experience, it enables us to offer an extremely wide range of services to our clients.
Lighting diffusers
We manufacture from a vast range of materials parts suitable for the lighting industry, whether its Prismatic Acrylic or a specific LED Grade Acrylic or Polycarbonate.
The products we design and manufacture range from items as simple as leaflet holders and shelf risers, through free standing display units and complex industrial components.
The precision and detail we offer to our clients enables us to work with highly individual items such as lighting diffusers.
Made from clear acrylic in the majority of cases, these lighting diffusers feature angled and patterned surfaces which scatter the light passing through them to reduce the harshness of that light and create a more pleasing ambience.
Bespoke design
The precision required to create a bespoke lighting diffuser means that we begin the process by working in close partnership with the client.
An initial brief can be turned into a detailed drawing using Alphacam 3 Axis CAD/CAM software, and this design is then used by our expert manufacturing team to create the lighting diffuser itself.
Techniques such as thermoforming, laser etching and diamond polishing can be combined to create a final result which looks extremely visually appealing and meets the very strict specifications needed for any light fitting.
Proficient in large scale production and delivery
In many cases the lighting diffusers in question will be needed in bulk, in order to be fitted throughout a larger space such as an office or restaurant. The scale of our manufacturing base, coupled with the experience of our team, means that we can handle large scale orders whilst delivering at speed and still meeting the ASH Plastics ethos of quality, excellence and value for money.
Once the full order of lighting diffusers has been manufactured we can distribute and deliver the individual items via our in-house logistics and warehousing operation.
