Thermoforming

Thermoforming is a method of manufacturing that uses force and pressure upon heated plastic sheets to manipulate the material into new configurations and shapes to create various types of components or products. We offer several different thermoforming services including: 

• Line Bending – bending materials along a straight heated strip 
• Sheet Heating – bending sheets of materials using multiple straight heated strips
• Dome Blowing – using heat and air pressure to create dome shapes 
• Vacuum Forming – using heat and negative air pressure to create shapes over a mould 
• Drape Forming – using heat and gravity to create shapes, often gentle curves, over a mould 

We stock and manufacture with many plastics that can be safely and effectively thermoformed, these include:
